CLARE LADIES FOOTBALL CHALLENGE #Ditchtheboots

Clare Ladies Football Team are running a charity event in order to raise funds for 4 very worthy charities. These include, West Clare Cancer Centre, Pieta, Clare Cystic Fibrosis & the Doing it for Dan appeal ☺️

The event the players and management are undertaking is a 1000km combined distance run between Monday 27th of April and Sunday 3rd of May, all while staying within a 2km radius of their home ‍♀️ Each day the players will put up their distance covered and some videos/photos showing them taking part in the challenge

How to join your county team & #DitchTheBoots for Charity:

We are asking players involved at all levels throughout the week and so we are nominating Wednesday coming as a #ClubJerseyDay. With this we are asking each club to get their players/juveniles involved in running/walking on the day with their club colours on and to upload their videos/photos to us on Instagram/twitter/Facebook with the hashtag #ditchtheboots.

We would also ask that you promote the fundraiser on each of your own social media accounts and Whats app groups!

On Thursday we are asking all our county juvenile teams to also get involved in a similar way with videos posted up of their various runs

As a group we feel this is a great opportunity to not only raise funds for some much needed causes but also to highlight the wonderful players we have in our county whilst also lifting the profile of each club and county team.
